Dongli Liu

Dongli Liu is a visiting professor at Changchun University of Technology, engaged in research and production of polymer materials for over 40 years. He currently serves as the Chairman of Shanghai Dongjie Polymer Materials Co., Ltd. and the President of Guangdong Dongjie New Materials Research Institute Co., Ltd.

He has led numerous national projects, among which the project on polyurethane framework ceiling panels for automobiles won the Excellent New Product Award from the National Economic and Trade Commission. The ABS/PVC thermoformed sheets for automotive dashboards received the Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from the Ministry of Light Industry. He has also led projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology Innovation Fund, including thermoplastic composite materials for automotive applications using red (ramie) fibers, natural fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite materials for automotive body accessories use, and natural fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite sheet materials for automotive use under the National Torch Plan. Mr. Liu is overseeing the development of key materials for non-pneumatic tires as part of the tire industry's "14th Five-Year Plan" development guidelines recommended materials. Currently, he is leading the industrialization project for the first international 100,000-ton capacity cycloolefin thermosetting resin. He holds 24 patents related to polymer materials.

For six consecutive years, he has been honored as an outstanding entrepreneur in the Shanghai overseas Chinese community. He previously served as an executive committee member of the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce and acted as a project review expert for the China Chemical Industry Association.
