Gu Zhishan
Gu Zhishan, the representative inheritor of Longsha School of Medicine of National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the P.R.C (NATCM), teaching experts of the National TCM outstanding talents training program, special national advisor of academic experience inheritance project of Traditional Chinese Medicine, president of the Professional Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, leader of the expert collaboration group of the Chinese Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine, executive member of the council of the Taihu World Culture Forum, Famous TCM doctor of Jiangsu Province, famous TCM doctor of Anhui Province, professor of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine, the representative inheritor of Jiangsu Province intangible cultural heritage "Longsha medical school characteristic diagnosis and treatment techniques", postdoctoral cooperation supervisor of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, distinguished professor of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, winner of Tang Yongtong Chinese Science Award in 2023.
He has presided over the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine special project "Using the Five Yun and Six Qi theory to predict epidemic diseases", the national "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" science and technology major project "Traditional Chinese Medicine Disease prediction and early warning method research", "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" science and technology major project "Traditional Chinese Medicine prediction of epicemic diseases and early warning theory and application research", etc. He has published more than 150 academic papers in his typical monographs, such as "A deep exploration of Epidemic Diseases" and "Gu Zhishan's Anthology of Yun Qi Medical Theory".
Gu Zhishan has fully inherited the three characteristic advantages of the Longsha medical school of "attaching importance to the theory and clinical application of the five Yun and six Qi of the Huangdi's Inner Classic", using the six movements and three Yin and three Yang theory to guide the use of the Classic Prescription, and being good at using the oral thick paste prescription to "cure the disease before its onset". Especially in the research of the five Yun and six Qi, traditional Chinese medicine culture and Chinese civilization, Gu Zhishan’s unique insights have aroused widespread concern in academia, renowned in China and abroad.
